The breakfast delivery was prompt and the coffee machine in the room was a great addition.

I booked a room with a large bath, a hot tub, and a sauna, though upon arrival, I discovered the room was closed for maintenance, not communicated beforehand. I was moved to another room, and it was called an upgrade. It lacked the features I wanted. The signage in the car park prioritized staff parking, this meant carrying luggage further.

The signage in the car park was a bit much. Staff get priority spaces right at the entrance, so I had to lug my bags across the lot. I also found it odd that you need to pay extra for logs for the fire, seriously? A complimentary log on arrival seems like a no-brainer and that small wardrobe. I wanted to settle in for a few days, not live out of my suitcase

the room was generally acceptable. however, the promised view was somewhat obstructed. the mini-fridge did not cool drinks effectively. this meant i had to request ice multiple times. additionally, the television remote required new batteries upon arrival, a detail that should have been checked beforehand.

The room was immaculate and fine. We stayed in the love suite (what a name!). It included a spa bath, a hot tub, and a steam shower. The bed was comfortable, as was the sofa. The staff were friendly and cute.

I asked for clean towels on two consecutive days, and did not receive any. I ALSO found empty cider cans near the hot tub. Previous guests had left them.

the love shack was larger than i expected. the sauna was a great addition to the hot tub and i definitely made good use of it. the location is really good.

i was told that room was closed for maintenance upon arrival. i was told i would be upgraded however i was aware of the room i was moved to as an upgrade which actually cost the same but had less features. to call it an upgrade was frankly a lie.
